Finding Connections

You’re Not Alone

Finding Connection in a Disconnected World

We live in an age of constant connection—social media, messaging apps, endless scrolling. Yet for many, loneliness has never felt heavier. It can sneak in quietly: when a friend stops calling, when you walk into a crowded room and feel invisible, or when you're carrying a burden you’re convinced no one else could understand. If that’s you, know this: you are not alone.

We believe the deep longing we feel to be known and loved was placed in us by God—and fulfilled through Jesus. He’s not distant. He came near. Scripture tells us He understands our isolation and meets us in it. Jesus doesn’t just offer sympathy; He offers Himself, a Savior who walks with us, weeps with us, and brings us into a family of believers.

Community isn’t just a nice idea. It’s how we were created to live. The early church described in Acts didn’t just gather on Sundays—they shared meals, prayers, and lives. That kind of life-giving connection is still possible today. Whether it’s through joining a small group, attending worship, or just sharing your story with someone who will listen, the invitation is open.

Here at St. Luke, we’re building spaces where real people can have real connection. You don’t have to pretend to have it all together. In fact, you’re welcome here exactly as you are. You’ll find people of all ages and backgrounds who are on the same journey—seeking truth, hope, and connection.

Maybe you’ve been hurt by church before. Maybe you’ve given up on the idea of community. Or maybe you're just curious. Wherever you are in your journey, we want you to know that there’s room for you here. You were made for relationship—with God and with others. And you don’t have to walk this road alone.
