Got SCRIP??
What is SCRIP?
SCRIP is gift cards from a variety of stores in and around our community where you already
shop regularly. You use is just like cash to purchase everyday items like FOOD, CLOTHING,
GAS, and other essentials. It's easy!
Where can I use SCRIP?
In most grocers (Safeway, G&G, Wholefoods, FoodMax, Raleys) in Santa Rosa, and most of the
gas stations in and around the area (Chevron, Arco, Shell), and most of the national chains in the
community (including Wal-Mart, Sears, Target, Macy's, Ross, etc.) accept SCRIP. We also
have SCRIP cards for most national chains for fast food, restaurants, clothes, hardware (Ace,
Lowe's, Home Depot), hunting, camping & fishing (Bass Pro, Cabelas, REI), and
office/electronics (Best Buy, Office Depot, Staples) in stores around the state and nation. We
even sell certificates for on-line shopping (including Amazon.com). See the vendor list at the
Great Lakes SCRIP Center website (left-hand side)for a complete list of businesses and gift
cards available to you.

is served).
2. Stop by the St. Luke SCRIP Shop (the office!) and we'll be happy to help you.

Does it really work?
Let's take the following example...
A family spends $200/week on groceries, gas, etc...
That's $800/month in SCRIP spending x 5% SCRIP profit (an average %)
That's $40/month in profit
That's $480/year in profit...from ONE family.
If just 50 familes participated at this level per year: $24,000 in profit!!!
