Mrs. Ann Prill, our Kindergarten teacher, is beginning her first year at St. Luke and her 31st
year of teaching. She graduated with a B.S. degree from Concordia College, Seward,
Nebraska in Lutheran Elementary Education. During her years of teaching in Lutheran
Schools she has taught Kindergarten through third grade with most of the years in a first and
second grade combo. Ann taught most of her years in the midwest. She is the mother of
three adult children who have blessed her with six grandchildren.

Mrs. Christy Solheim, our first and second grade teacher, is beginning her 26th  year
of teaching, and this is her 23rd year at St. Luke. She earned her BA from Boise State
University in Elementary Education, a colloquy from Concordia University, St. Paul,
Minnesota for Lutheran Education, and most recently she received her Master’s Degree
from Sonoma State University in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Solheim also directs 
our school hand bell choir.


Mrs. Cyndi Rothas, our third and fourth grade teacher, has taught at St. Luke for the
past 30 years. She graduated with her B.A. from Concordia College, St. Paul,
Minnesota with her focus on Elementary Education and Art.


Mrs. Julie Reifsteck is our 5th & 6th grade homeroom teacher. She was born and raised in
Sonoma County, and she is very glad to continue to call it home. She has a B.A. in Liberal
Studies with an emphasis on Elementary Education from Concordia University in Irvine. She
has had 1 year teaching experience as a substitute in Santa Rosa, and this is her first year here
at St. Luke. Teaching has been an ambition since she was very young and she is very excited
to be able to continue that passion with the St. Luke students

Mrs. Paulina Crowell is our 5th - 8th grade Spanish teacher.  She was born in Santiago,
Chile and raised in San Francisco, California.  She attended Solano Community College and
has been teaching both adults and children for over 20 years in California, Colorado, Kansas,
and also abroad.  This is Paulina’s third year teaching at St. Luke and she enjoys working with
our students. 


Mr. Jim Prill serves as our Principal and 7th and 8th grade homeroom teacher. Mr. Prill
has graduated from Concordia University in Seward, NE in 1973 with a major in Elementary
Education with an emphasis in History and a minor in School Administration. His first
teaching assignment was at Trinity Lutheran School in Manistee, Michigan. Since then he has
served congregations in Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and California. He spent one teaching in
the public school in Glendale, AZ. He has experience teaching third graders through eighth
graders. In his spare time he loves to read, sing and watch movies. He married his wife, Ann,
in 1973. They have been blessed with three children all in church work and 6 wonderful
grandchildren with one more on the way.
